What is rubber Flooring?

As a kind of ground decoration material, the color rubber floor is characterized by good elasticity and softness, comfortable feet and small residual depression. The main material of rubber floor is rubber with high elastic properties, with silica strong filling materials, flame retardant materials, pigments and rubber crosslinking agents, etc., through plasticizing, mixing, color matching, extrusion and calendering, high temperature and high pressure vulcanization, post-treatment and other processes processed, the service life can reach more than 15 years.

1. Introduction of rubber floor material parameters
Rubber floor is made of natural rubber and synthetic rubber and other materials made of floor decoration materials, with gloss, wear resistance, pressure resistance, water resistance, non-slip, flame retardant and other characteristics, widely used in business, sports, education, medical and other fields. The performance of rubber floor depends on its material parameters, the following is a detailed introduction to the material parameters of rubber floor.
2.hardness parameters
Hardness is one of the most important indicators of rubber flooring, reflecting the softness and elasticity of the floor material. The higher the hardness index, the harder the floor, and vice versa. The hardness parameter can be determined by the Shaw hardness value (Shore A). In practical applications, rubber floors with a hardness value between 85 and 95 are usually selected.
3. Density parameters
Rubber floor density refers to the weight per unit volume, and is also an important parameter to measure the quality of its material itself. The density is related to the thickness and material composition of the rubber floor, and the common unit is kg/cubic meter. The material density of rubber floor is generally between 1.5 and 1.65g/cm³.
4. Tear strength parameters
The tearing strength refers to the maximum tensile force that the rubber floor can withstand under the action of tensile force, which is a key index to measure its durability. Rubber flooring with higher tear strength is safer and more reliable in use. The tear strength of rubber floor is often measured in KN/m (kN /m), and the conventional requirement is that the tear strength is not less than 20KN/m.
5.wear resistance parameters
The wear resistance of rubber flooring refers to the resistance to wear of the material. The wear resistance is often measured by the amount of wear, and the standard wear of the rubber floor should not exceed 250mm³. The smaller the amount of wear, the better the wear resistance of the rubber floor.
